Name: Ichinose, Kaoru (not related to Ichinose of North Academy)
Age: when he disappeared, 16ish; now 20-21
Gender: Male. Really.
Dorm/School: Obelisk Blue/Duel Academy (formerlycurrently in the honor dorm 2.0)
Year: 2nd, repeating TO THE MAX
Current Deck: Temptress deck
Description: I would say he looks like a cross of this and this in an Obelisk Blue uniform. Yes, another blue haired honor student guy who appeared from nowhere. :P
Personality: Kaoru once was a friendly yet rather vain guy. His experience in Darkness Land left him cold and feels that nobody is prettier than him. To him, everyone else on the island is a bunch of ugly dolls. However, he's also rather possessive if he finds something he likes. But hey, his happy vain dork-ness might be still in there somewhere.Mention Mia and he'll angst though. D:
History: Kaoru when he was younger was a shy kid who got bullied a lot. But during middle school, he met Mia, a Yanki girl who felt drawn to him for some odd reason and protected him from bullies. They became friends and practiced playing Duel Monsters.
They both enrolled in Duel Academy and Kaoru ended up in the Honor Dorm. Daitokuji-sensei asked him to help him out with some experiments. Meanwhile, Mia was falling ill. When Kaoru found out, he hoped to find theSorcerer'sPhilosopher's Stone before Daitokuji did and went deeper into his research. Daitokuji, not wanting competition, lured Kaoru into the basement where they played a Yami no Game. Kaoru lost and was eaten by the dark...blob things and spent several years being tormented by his old bullies for his looks and apparent wimpyness.
As for Mia, her sadness over Kaoru's disappearance made her illness worse. One day she collapsed and spent some time in a coma before dying while the doctors tried to figure out what was wrong. Her last words before collapsing was 'Kao...ru...'
Now that Kaoru is out, he's still getting over the fact that he's been gone for several years. But it bothers him he can't find Mia...
Extra Abilities: Has the spirit of Catnipped Kitty following him around...'cause that's the only cat-related card Bilbo can think of right now. That and bishie sparkles.
